The Scrolls of Kybal
The Scrolls of Kybal are the central holy text and philosophical foundation of the Void Yogis in the YE 5000 era of Void Pirates.
They are not a single physical book, but a collection of five sacred scrolls (sometimes copied as a bound codex or data-crystal in modern times). These scrolls contain the distilled esoteric wisdom of the ancient Hermetic and yogic traditions, reframed as the living doctrine of those who reject the Nova Catholic Church’s worship of the Dark Sun (Sol) and instead seek direct communion with THE ALL — the Infinite Living Mind.
Physical and Cultural Description
- Appearance: The original Scrolls are said to have been inscribed on durable, self-repairing Ancestor-era alloy sheets or etched into glowing crystalline tablets that shimmer with faint bioluminescent patterns. Modern copies exist as encrypted data-crystals, handwritten codices hidden in Resistance safe houses, or oral recitations memorized by Void Yogi masters.
The Sacred Teachings of the Void Yogis
Being a Revelation of the Hidden Laws of the Universe, as Preserved by Those Who Walk the Silent Path
Hear now, seeker of the Inner Flame, the eternal truths set down in these Scrolls. Not for the curious, nor for those who would grasp power for vanity, but for those who would become co-creators with the Infinite, walking the razor’s edge between Light and the Great Silence.

The First Scroll: The One Reality
There is but ONE REALITY behind all appearance. We name it THE ALL — the Infinite, Living Mind. All that exists is Mental — held, sustained, and created within the Mind of THE ALL. Nothing exists outside of It. The Universe is not a machine of dead matter, but a great Thought vibrating within the Infinite Mind.
As it is written:
“The Universe is Mental — held in the Mind of THE ALL.”
This is the Master Key. Understand this deeply, and all doors of knowledge swing open before you.
The Second Scroll: The Seven Sacred Principles
These Seven Principles govern every plane of existence. Master them, and you master yourself and the conditions around you.
Mentalism — The Universe is Mental. All is Mind. Change the Mind, and you change the manifestation. Through this principle arise the greater Siddhis of the Void, for all power flows from the recognition that reality itself is shaped by thought.
Correspondence — As above, so below; as below, so above. The microcosm mirrors the macrocosm. Study the small to understand the great, and the great to master the small. By this law the Yogi perceives hidden connections and wields powers that bridge planes, including the arts of telepathy, clairvoyance, and psychometry.
Vibration — Nothing rests; everything moves; everything vibrates. The difference between one thing and another is only in rate and mode of vibration. The Master raises or lowers vibration at will. Upon this principle rest the arts of Mind Shroud (veiling one’s vibration from detection), False Echo (creating illusory vibrations of the self), and the raising of personal vibration to achieve Void Step — the swift translocation across short distances.
Polarity — Everything has two poles. Opposites are identical in nature, differing only in degree. Heat and cold are the same; love and hate are the same. The wise neutralize the swing of polarity by rising to a higher plane. Here lies the secret of Pain Harvest — transmuting the pole of suffering into the pole of power, converting damage received into temporary reserves of PSI.
Rhythm — Everything flows outward and inward, rises and falls, in rhythmic cycles. The Master does not become the pendulum — he neutralizes the rhythm by balancing upon the higher plane, turning the Circle into an Ascending Spiral. Through mastery of Rhythm the Yogi achieves Collective Communion, linking many minds into harmonious coordination that transcends individual limitation.
Cause and Effect — There is no chance. Every effect has its cause, and every cause its effect. The Master becomes Cause rather than Effect by operating from the higher planes. From this flows Soul Rend, the direct imposition of will upon another’s inner state, and the greater arts of influence that bend apparent fate.
Gender — On every plane there exists the Masculine Principle (projective Will) and the Feminine Principle (receptive Creative Force). Their union generates all manifestation. Without both, nothing is born. This principle underlies the generative power of visualization and desire in all Siddhi practice.
The Third Scroll: Mental Transmutation and the Training of the Siddhis
The great work of the Void Yogi is Mental Transmutation — the changing of mental states, conditions, and circumstances by the application of higher laws upon lower ones.
You are not a slave to your moods, your fears, or your circumstances. By understanding Polarity and Rhythm, you may shift your vibration. Fear may be transmuted into Courage. Weakness into Strength. Poverty of spirit into Abundance.
From the application of these laws arise the practical Siddhis known to the Void Yogis. Each talent is trained through patient, daily discipline: rhythmic breathing to gather Prana, concentration to still the lower mind, visualization reinforced by strong Will and Desire, and ethical living to ensure safe unfoldment. The path demands gradual progress — sudden forcing invites imbalance.
Minor Siddhis (attainable through disciplined practice):
- Mind Shroud — Trained by daily practice of mental withdrawal: sit in silence, visualize a veil of darkness or light surrounding your form, and affirm that no outer probe may penetrate. Combine with rhythmic breathing to stabilize the vibration.
- False Echo — Developed by forming a clear mental image of a duplicate self in another place, then projecting it outward with focused will while holding the true self in perfect stillness. Practice first in quiet chambers, then in motion.
- Pain Harvest — Cultivated by consciously meeting discomfort with detached observation, then willing the energy of suffering to rise and convert into usable inner force. Begin with small discomforts and build tolerance through breath control.
- Telepathy, clairvoyance, clairaudience, and psychometry — Awakened by stilling the mind through concentration, then entering a receptive state while holding an object, listening inwardly, or gazing softly. Daily exercises in sending and receiving simple thoughts strengthen the channels.
Major Siddhis (requiring deeper mastery and carrying greater risk):
- Void Step — Trained through prolonged visualization of the destination combined with rhythmic breath retention and a sudden surge of will to “step” across the space. Practice first with short distances in safe environments, always grounding afterward.
- Soul Rend — Developed only after great purification: concentrate will upon the target’s inner state while polarizing your own vibration to destructive resonance. This demands strict ethical discipline, for misuse rebounds heavily.
- Collective Communion — Achieved by first linking with one trusted mind through shared meditation and breath synchronization, then expanding the circle. Regular group practice in silence builds the harmonious field.
- Essence Drain — The most perilous art, trained through advanced polarization and visualization of drawing vital force while maintaining perfect detachment. It is rarely taught openly and carries the warning that it may corrupt the practitioner if not balanced by compassion and Dharma.
The method of transmutation is simple yet profound:
Observe the undesired state. Recognize its opposite pole. Consciously polarize yourself toward the higher expression. Hold the mental image with concentrated Will and Desire. Let the vibration rise.
Thus does the Yogi become the alchemist of his own mind and world.
The Fourth Scroll: The Sevenfold Nature of Man and the Aura
Man is not merely body and mind. He is a sevenfold being:
Physical Body
Astral Body
Prana (the Vital Force)
Instinctive Mind
Intellect
Spiritual Mind
Spirit — the Divine Spark
From these flow the human aura — a luminous, egg-shaped nebula of color and light that reveals the true state of the soul. Thought itself is a living force that creates thought-forms — real entities of mental substance that can influence self and others.
The developed Yogi learns to perceive, strengthen, and direct the aura through daily observation and visualization of protective or healing colors.
Through control of Prana (via rhythmic breathing) and the inner senses arise abilities such as telepathy, clairvoyance, psychometry, human magnetism, occult therapeutics, astral-body traveling, and the projection of healing or destructive force. These are natural extensions of the inner constitution when the seven principles are understood and balanced.
The Fifth Scroll: The Path of Attainment and the Warning
There are three great paths that lead to the same summit:
Karma Yoga — the path of right action and selfless service.
Gnani Yoga — the path of knowledge, wisdom, and understanding of the Cosmic Laws.
Raja Yoga — the path of mind mastery, concentration, and will development. The true Void Yogi walks all three in balance.
Daily practice is essential:
- Rhythmic and full breathing to absorb Prana.
- Concentration to still the lower mind.
- Visualization backed by strong Will and Desire.
- Ethical living (Dharma) to ensure safe progress.
The goal is not mere power, but illumination — the realization of your true nature as a Center of Consciousness and Force within the Infinite Mind, rising above the swings of Rhythm and Polarity to become a conscious co-creator.
The Warning: These powers are not toys. Every Major Siddhi leaves a mark upon the soul and upon the Heresy Track of the outer world. Misuse invites swift reaction from the forces of the Dark Sun. Right use, tempered by discipline and compassion, brings freedom, mastery, and harmony with the Cosmic Will.
THE ALL is Mind. The Universe is Mental.
Thus ends the teaching of the Scrolls of Kybal.
May the Inner Flame guide thee, O seeker, through the Great Silence and beyond.
